BIOGRAPHY
Growing up in Brazil, dance was always present in my life. Despite coming from an underprivileged family and facing difficult times, I persevered by following my dreams and passion for dance, which brought me to a fulfilling dancing career in Europe.
For the past twelve years working in Germany, particularly the past six years with Gauthier Dance, I had the privilege to dance in many great works by choreographers such as Ohad Naharin, Marco Goecke, and Hofesh Shechter. The evolution of contemporary dance, which is constantly being transformed and developed, motivates me to do the same in ballet. In 2017 while touring in New York City, I had the chance to watch a performance of NYCB. The musicality, agility, technique, virtuosity and passion of the dancers excited and moved me, which inspired me to further explore the possibilities of neoclassical ballet.

In 2018 and 2019 the legendary German ballerina Birgit Keil invited me to create two separate neoclassical works to be featured in the Gala evenings at her company, the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe. It was with this great honor that my dreams as a young Brazilian boy really came into reality.
With my choreography, I aims to combine my own contemporary experience with my passion for classical ballet, musicality and speed. When approaching each of my works , the fundamental importance is to bring the best qualities out of each dancer, demonstrating their unique personalities and showcasing their own strengths and abilities. At the start of the creative process, I find my inspiration through the music and the dancers. Typically I develop the steps ahead of time, but use rehearsals to mold them on the dancers, which becomes a constant learning process for me.
Also, I am eager to collaborate with emerging composers, as musicality is a crucial part of my work. Ultimately, I would be grateful for the opportunity to reach a greater audience through the exposure and involvement in different projects.
